Docly Scanner

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Alexarix Limited (“we”) builds Docly Scanner (“the App”, bundle identifier com.alexarix.docly). This policy explains what the App does and does not collect.

Your documents never leave your device

Scanning, image processing, text recognition (OCR), PDF generation and signatures all run locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple frameworks. We do not upload, store, read or transmit your scans, recognised text or PDFs to our servers or to any third party. Files you export are shared only where you choose to send them.

What we do collect

Firebase product analytics — Google Firebase Analytics receives app and device context, an analytics installation identifier, and general outcomes of scanning, saving, combining, splitting and sharing, with bounded page or file counts and selected export format. It receives no document contents, OCR text, filenames or document identifiers. Analytics events may also be included as generic Crashlytics breadcrumbs. See Firebase's privacy documentation.

We do not sell personal data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use third-party ad networks.

Permissions the App asks for

Data retention and deletion

Scans live in the App’s private container on your device. Deleting a document removes its files; deleting the App removes everything. To delete purchase records held by Adapty, or crash records held by Firebase, email us at support@alexarix.com and we will action the request within 30 days.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, California or another jurisdiction with data protection rights, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited data described above. Contact support@alexarix.com.

Changes

We will update this page and revise the date above when this policy changes.
